                Hassan Ramady began his career with BICC Cables UK, member of the largest construction Group – Balfour Beatty, after obtaining his degree in Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University. He was relocated to the United Arab Emirates and rose to the position of Regional Director in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). During the period from 1977 to 2014, Mr. Ramady held Group Vice Presidency positions with companies & trading houses employing over 6000 people and board memberships within companies in the Oil and Gas, Construction, Power Generation, Solar , hospitality and travel agencies industries. Regional Director, UKTI NW Clive took up his post in 2006 and is based at UKTI’s Daresbury office, from where he has responsibility for helping the North West to develop its international businesses, to grow the number of firms exporting and increase the region’s presence in the high growth markets of the world. Before joining UKTI, Clive held the position of Director of International Trade for the Chambers of Commerce in Staffordshire.
